KKOKO is an emerging rap artist bringing her own energy into the trap and Southern hip-hop space. Born and raised in Charlotte, North Carolina, and now based in the Dallas, Texas area, she is building her name with confidence, ambition, and a sound rooted in movement.
Her love for rap started early. Riding around with her father while hip-hop played in the car, KKOKO would rap along word for word, learning the feeling of rhythm, delivery, and presence before she ever stepped into her own artistry. Those early moments helped shape her connection to the culture and sparked the dream that would later push her toward music.
After moving to Dallas, KKOKO began taking her craft seriously. She started writing her own lyrics and working over “type” beats, using the process to sharpen her flow and develop her identity. Her sound is energetic, upbeat, and heavily influenced by trap, giving her music the kind of bounce and confidence that fits naturally into today’s Southern rap scene.
What separates KKOKO is her focus. She is not just making music to follow a trend. She wants to create records that feel authentic, motivate listeners, and show growth with every release. Inspired by Southern underground rap artists, she understands the value of raw creativity, storytelling, and staying true to yourself while building from the ground up.
With her single “Certified” and EP Certified, KKOKO has already started putting her sound in motion. She has also performed at Roc Nation Summer Academy in New York, hit showcases in Dallas and Oklahoma City, and co-hosted an episode with Pirscription of Private Hip Hop Podcast in Waco, Texas.
KKOKO is still early in her journey, but the hunger is there. She is focused on developing her sound, expanding her reach, and making sure her name is heard. In a trap scene built on confidence and consistency, KKOKO is stepping forward with both.
